Dubai hotels going strong!

Following the media over the past year or so, one might have got the impression that Dubai hotels have experiensed the worldwide recession quite bad. BUT newly published stats shows a 8.4% growths for the 1st quarter of 2010.

Dubai hotels are showing a 77% occupancy rate for the same period, and this is high compared to any worlwide destination.

Dubai expect more than 15 million passengers to arrive at Dubai International Airport this year.

Dubai as a holiday destination, has  received huge coverage in media worldwide. Most of us will at some point have watched or read about the highest building in the world , The Burj Khalifa, Indoor skiing, worlds larges shopping mall, Armani Hotel, The Palm Islands, etc. Hotels in Dubai seems to be of the very highest standard  in the world at the moment. And it is a mecca for luxyry travellers looking for that little extra.

Travellers to Dubai can expect new and even more luxurious hotels entering the arena in the near future; The Royal Amwaj, Palazzo Versace, a new One & Only, Elizabetta Gucci, and more.

We think Dubai will still be a very popular hotel destination in years to come, and it caters both to luxury travellers as well as travellers on different types of budgets!
